The Kochab patrol route is the one assignment no pilot wants. It’s a dead-end run, reserved for troublemakers the brass wants far from anything important, or for nobodies who’ll never rise through the Union Navy ranks.

It should be a dull, uneventful stretch of space. But the Ursa Minor region is boiling over. What was supposed to be a routine patrol is now a battleground of secrets, backstabbing, and rising tensions.

Once, Polaris in the Ursae Minoris constellation was Cradle's North Star—the celestial beacon guiding sailors across ancient seas. Now, in 5016u, the new North Star sits in Cepheus, and Ursa Minor is little more than a forgotten border, a historical footnote on the edge of Union space.

But this quiet frontier is about to explode. Schemes and rivalries are brewing, poised to ignite a civil war that could light up the entire constellation.

And in the crossfire? The UNS Cheapest Option and its crew of rookie pilots.

Brace yourselves. Things are about to get messy.

Please enjoy! This was a project to make an entire (modest) module in a single weekend... I finished on Monday, so obviously I went a bit over, but I'm happy with the result nonetheless! <3
